Common Services operates like a software house within the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. As the senior executive responsible for all aspects of the operations of the Common Services group including managing multiple teams such as DevOps, Engineering, Enterprise Data Management and Micro-services. Common Services also offers consulting to other solution delivery groups and the Common Services University offers training across the Federal Reserve System. The Common Services group enables Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) for multiple applications. In addition, the re-usable components/micro-services make up ~50% of the deployed code of any application deployed in Federal Reserve Bank of New York enabling faster time to market with lower risk.
