Dr. Hope Jackson is on the English faculty of North Carolina A&T State University. She received her PhD in Educational & Cultural Studies. Her dissertation titled, “Stones of Memory: Narratives of a Black Beach Community conflated her own narrative experiences as well as her background in English and African American Literature. Hope's current research interests include: identifying discourses of the critical imagination through the context of African American films, Identifying dichotomies of African American Rhetoric, Recognizing Tropes of African American Aesthetics, Narrative Discourse, Black Feminist Traditions and Black Community Pedagogy.
