Frederick K. Minturn (Fred) has been president and chief executive officer (CEO) at MSX International (MSXI) since 2009. Prior to his current position, Mr. Minturn served as executive vice president and chief financial officer. Before joining MSXI, he served as vice president and controller of the Automotive Operations group for Taylor, Mich.-based MascoTech. His career also includes time spent as a controller with Creative Industries Group, Inc. and as a CPA.Mr. Minturn graduated in 1978 from Western Michigan University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting. He earned his Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1980, and in 2009, was honored as a CFO of the Year by Crain’s Detroit Business. Minturn sits on the board of directors for MSXI, the Automotive Hall of Fame and Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation. In 2012, he was invited to join Business Leaders for Michigan, an organization dedicated to making Michigan a 'top-notched' state for job, economic and personal income growth. Additionally, Minturn was named one of the 100 Most Influential People in the Staffing Industry by Staffing Industry Analysts.A resident of Grosse Pointe, Mich., Minturn is active in his community and has served in various publicly elected positions, most recently as treasurer of the Grosse Pointe Shores Board of Education for five years.
