Manage 81 IT professionals and a $29.2M capital and operating budget. Principal responsibly is to run IT as a business for the benefit of stakeholders. Responsible for the planning and operation for the IT infrastructure of two data centers and twenty six offices worldwide. A proven IT optimization consultant. Years of experience combined with a broad breath understanding of technology allow for the implementation of reliable pragmatic enterprise class solutions to meet business requirements. This requires giving appropriate consideration as to personnel skills, cost, technical fit with exiting IT infrastructure, ongoing support requirements, user acceptance and political impact on an organization. Improving IT efficiency requires the ability to get to the root cause of operational issues as well as being able to avoid initiatives that waste resources that leave a negative impression of IT. Set a high standard of personnel proficiency in order to maintain a high level of IT services. Operationally it requires the ability to assess personnel skills and match the right people to IT positions in order to optimally complete projects and provide a high level of system(s) uptime availability. Responsible for the teams that support day-to-day IT operations of complex mission critical IT systems as well as defining an organizations strategic IT direction. This role requires a diverse experience in managing technology, strategic planning and a thorough understand business requirements. This mix of skills allows me to take a measured approach to evaluating technology initiatives with the objective of addressing an organizations immediate short-term operational requirements while also taking into account strategic IT objectives.
