Opportunities for personal and professional growth come at unexpected times from unexpected people. Did you know that I went to school to study culinary arts and hospitality management? It's true. Now specialize in recruiting, business development and human resources and have been a student of the game for over a decade. Not a typical path by any means, but I wouldn't change a thing! I've learned to be creative, but regimented when needed in my day to day. Most importantly, I've gained experience across many different industries from many different vantage points. Which gives me the unique opportunity to share that knowledge with my team, my connections, potential candidates, bosses and clients in order to help make more informed, honest decisions. I believe the true pulse of any organization, the absolute most valuable asset to any company or firm is it's people. My personal and professional goal is to connect great people with great opportunity. Yes, I collect a paycheck for doing what I love. But I no longer do it for commission, no longer for awards and contests (they were nice, don't get me wrong). Now it's for the satisfaction of making a great match, the chance to influence employers and hiring teams to be more open minded in their hiring decisions, watching the impact a new hire has in an organization and their quality of life change for the better. As well as collecting and analyzing the data to help ensure decisions are backed up by facts. It's an ongoing education in human behavior and business as an observer, practitioner and influencer. It is possible to be accurate and data-driven as well as open-minded and creative.
