IT Executive with over 30 years of experience developing and executing IT strategies aligned with corporate strategy, and with demonstrated success in IT transformation in large, global organizations. I have a great success in hiring and retaining top talent. I also have an excellent track record as a business partner who collaborates well with other executives to deliver high value business critical initiatives. Currently I am at Mentor Graphics as VP & CIO responsible for global IT, Software Licensing and Install of Mentor Products, Customer Collaboration Enablement, Enterprise Security and Customer Support for Hardware Emulation. Since joining the company in 2007, with the help of my great team, we transformed Mentor’s IT organization to be an innovative business enabler. We consolidated 35 datacenters globally into 2 state-of-the-art, highly energy efficient datacenters.This initiative was focused on providing highly available, scalable engineering and business critical infrastructure to support Mentor’s global business, while increasing efficiencies and reducing overall costs in millions of dollars. Designed IT organization to be a true global function, which helped create a global perspective in IT solutions. Developed strategies to help employees maximize their work day by providing state of the art tools and technology and created an environment for employees to work from anywhere at anytime. Customer Collaboration is my passion and the team’s main objective is to help Mentor customers connect securely with Mentor to work on joint projects, and provide value added service. We also designed and implemented a scalable Emulation hardware customer support practice. Along with this my team supports Emulation hosting. I serve in customer advisory board for couple of global Technology companies, advisory board member of University of Oregon Applied Information Management graduate program and Portland CIO advisory alliance.
