My experience thus far has been filled with variety of works within the mechanical engineering field. As a graduate student, I started on a project called Reinventing the Toilet Challenge by the Gates Foundation. It was during this time that I learn all engineering process, from designing, fabrication, and testing a combustion toilet. I found that this project very fulfilling for me because it was something that has never been done and any ideas were welcomed. The freedom that I have in creating ideas was proven to be very successful for me. I thrived in those environments very well. I graduated and decided to work in the world of robotics. There is a high mix of hands on and software when I work with robots. Visualizing how my program will work in real life with motion is quite entertaining to see. So now, the focus of my career has been to work in between the mix of software and hardware by having both experience in coding and fabrication. With my experience at Robotics, I was then hired by MCFA which is one of the leading material handling manufacturer in the world. in MCFA, I held various roles with increasing responsibility. I was responsible for >$1M of equipment investment per year, lead the Robotics, Machining, Press brake, Laser cutter department in MCFA. My supervisory roles also increased significantly with 8 direct reports on my teams comprised of Engineer, Technician, and THE BEST FABRICATOR team..
