Marketing Associate

LSI Industries is a leading manufacturer of LED lighting, outdoor lighting, indoor lighting and commercial lighting solutions.

I am the Marketing Coordinator at LSI Industries where I manage all aspects of 10x10 trade shows for niche markets on a national level. I manage logistics for 10x10, 20x20 (NADA) and 40x40 (Light Fair International 2016) shows. I have eliminated third-party exhibition houses by bringing all trade show materials in house which has decreased the monthly fees from the Marketing budget drastically. I’ve increased our social media following by executing campaigns across numerous channels including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. I create ways to interact with our followers by showing appreciation to our reps and employees, posting holiday images customized to LSI and sharing articles pertaining to the company. I am responsible of measuring website activity and trends to continue to increase LSI’s social media following. I’ve planned all aspects of multiples events with attendees ranging from 80-300 by creating a budget and sticking to it. This budget would include transportation from the convention center to the restaurant, food and beverages. I was able to get the best rates by researching multiple companies and thinking out of the box when it came to dinner choices. I graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Communications with honors from The University of Cincinnati where I pursued a Public Relations certificate, a Deaf studies certificate and had a concentration in Psychology. I was the PR Intern at The WAVE Foundation where I monitored media coverage, wrote blogs, attended TV appearances and events with outreach animals, helped host media events, captured footage to share with our social media followers, and found new media contacts for different campaigns. My leadership roles included the Publicity/Social Media Chair for the National Society of Leadership and Success, being a member of the UC dance team, and coaching the Lakota West DanceTeam.
