As a C-level Healthcare Business and Clinical Executive, I fuse 20+ years of experience to lead strategic enterprise-wide transformation, growth, and innovation for payer and provider healthcare organizations through complex business evolutions. This unique background coalescing clinical and infrastructure operations, fiscal oversight, business acumen, services innovation, and M&A has supported the build and scale of both PE-backed companies and Fortune 50 organizations, including Cardinal Health, UnitedHealth Group, and Humana. Through an authentic and collaborative leadership style, I gain consensus among clinicians, business leaders, and external customers during times of growth and change. Currently, I lead as President, Home-Based Care of Mass General Brigham with full P&L responsibility in the successful growth of MGB's home-based care business, including two of the first and largest hospital at home offerings in the country. Previously, as Chief Clinical Innovation Officer at Kindred at Home (KAH), set and executed the industry leading clinical strategy for the largest U.S Home Health company across the joint venture consortium (KAH, Humana, TPG and Welsh Carlson Anderson & Stowe). Incorporated Home Health (HH) provider capabilities into the Health Plan: 30K employees, 100K daily patients and $1.9B revenue. Subsequently, efforts contributed to Company’s best financial performance, increased 2020 YoY EDBITA by 35% and KAH’s $8.1B purchase by Humana. Earlier, led rapid clinical scaling at naviHealth, as Chief Clinical Officer, to become the largest convener in CMS’s Bundled Payments for Care Improvement (BPCI) LOB while driving growth in at-risk Medicare Advantage (MA) post-acute care (PAC) utilization management (UM) business. Doubling both LOBs contributed naviHealth’s divestiture to CD&R and ultimate $1.2B acquisition by UHG. As SVP, Enterprise Clinical Operations for Fortune 14, Cardinal Health, partnered with GMs in sustaining enterprise accountability for $8.3B in annual sales across the top 25 strategic IDN accounts by defining the clinical value proposition beyond supply chain expertise. Commenced NP practice and advanced to leadership roles at UnitedHealth Group, with responsibility for 2 Health Plans, including UHG’s largest region of nurse practitioners.
