I am an expert in commercial and international law, serving major corporations on sizeable deals with due diligence, regulatory compliance, contract drafting and favorable contract negotiations. I work with executive teams to design and drive complex local and international contract pursuit and negotiations in pursuit of organizational goals. As a leader, I’m known for directness, fairness, and ability to connect with my team for better engagement. I am currently serving as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of KIK Custom Products, a CPG manufacturer operating in 4 segments: automotive, pool, household and personal care. The brands KIK's products are sold under include Prestone, Simmoniz, Holtz, Biol-Lab, Clorox Pool and Spa, Comet and Spic and Span. Prior to that, I held the position of Deputy General Counsel for General Dynamics Land Systems, for which I served as lead counsel on multi-million-dollar contract negotiations with foreign entities. I am also extremely proud of the top-shelf anti-bribery program that I built and led for the business. The structure continues to be a world class compliance program. Prior to this position, I held a legal operations role with GE Capital Canada, in which I increased our division’s performance and minimized costs. At the same time, I designed a new financial product that led to many millions in incremental revenue. My earliest career was a litigation attorney and labour and employment counsel.
