I help individuals, groups and organizations remove barriers to accomplishing their goals, focusing on organizational development to improve the way people approach their work. I am a Masters student pursuing a Management and Leadership degree that focuses on leadership in the context of organizational change. My desire is to help identify and nurture that part of individuals and organizations that are willing to navigate uncertainty in order to become better. I believe that good leadership is the single most critical factor in any transition, but with that statement is an understanding that leadership does not describe individuals. Instead it describes a mentality, and a recognition of the complex nature of the people who make up organizations. With the increased dependence on knowledge and the subsequent increases in uncertainty, leadership is now a mentality required by everyone in organizations. The lines between leaders and followers are becoming more and more blurred. I would describe myself as a highly technical person who enjoys work and hobbies that involve creating things that serve a purpose and fulfil a need. However, early in my career I realized that I get just as much or more satisfaction out of helping others achieve their goals and improve their situation. It's what led me into consulting and organizational development. I am now formalizing my experience in organizational change and my goal is to provide coaching and mentoring to individuals at every level of their organization.
