Chief Operating Officer and member of the Group Executive of The John Lewis Partnership (Waitrose supermarkets, John Lewis Department Stores & John Lewis Financial Services). Reporting to Executive Chairman, Dame Sharon White, I'm the executive director responsible for delivering the organisation’s business transformation & its annual Operating Plan. I also lead the Property, Supply Chain, Transformation and Technology, functions. Prior to this I was the Partnership's Chief Information Officer and Group Productivity & Change Director and spent five years as Retail Director of John Lewis, helping establish it as one of the UK's leading omni channel retailers. Over the years I've held a number of sector leadership roles, including chairing the Scottish Retail Consortium, directorships of The New West End Company and London First and as the founding Chair of Scotland's first city centre Business Improvement District - Essential Edinburgh. I'm currently a Board Director of Clicklink - one of the UK’s leading eFulfilment logistics providers, the Co-Chair of the Scottish Government's Retail Industry Leadership Group and a member of the HM Treasury / Bank of England Central Bank Digital Currency Engagement Forum.
