The JHPIEGO Corporation, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, is a nonprofit corporation dedicated to improving the health of women and families throughout the world. Currently, JHPIEGO has three major awards: To promote the survival of mothers and their newborns, the Maternal and Neonatal Health Program will increase the use of key maternal and neonatal health and nutrition practices and services in regions with high levels of maternal deaths. Sant Familiale et Prvention du SIDA works to increase the availability and use of quality reproductive health services and strengthen the technical and management capacity of Africa partners. A Peace Corps Volunteer whose experience includes maximizing the efficiency and effectiveness of Health Management Information Systems in rural Malawi; leveraging locally-available resources to promote health systems strengthening and capacity building; grant writing and management; conducting literature reviews and data-analysis for evidence-based decision making; and developing partnerships to improve inter-organization coordination. Also possesses exceptional problem solving, leadership, analytic, cross-cultural, and communication skills.
