My sales experience began during my university years when I purchased classic cars in California and re-sold them in Italy. At that time, I learned the importance of freight forwarding as a customer. After graduating with a degree in Business Economics I was hired by my freight forwarding service provider and have been working there since. During my professional career I have had the opportunity to contribute directly to the transformation of the company from an important regional success to a true global multinational. This unique experience has given me an intimate knowledge of the challenges faced by a sales organization operating globally. I understand how to structure a complex sales team located in very different areas of the world. I have designed and deployed transformative sales programs aimed at growing the number and the size of customers globally optimizing a limited number of resources. I am at ease speaking to important customers regardless if they are in Asia, Europe, or the Americas. Outside of work I have a fantastic family that has always supported me. I run about 100 Km per month, I enjoy an occasional basketball game and try to play golf. I contribute to the local community as the chair of the Simpson Elementary School Council. My perfect relaxation day is under a beach umbrella on Hilton Head Island with an Asimov book.
