I am very fortunate as I have a real passion for my role as a Financial Adviser. Helping my clients protect and improve their financial situation is something I greatly enjoy. Building close relationships with people and assisting them in achieving their goals is extremely satisfying, whether that is helping a couple buy their first house or at the other end of the spectrum prepare for their retirement and beyond. As an adviser you can fulfil many roles, being at times a mentor, an educator, and a facilitator and most often helping people articulate what their goals and ambitions actually are. Of course it is not always smooth sailing and protecting my clients from the various risks to them achieving their long term goals is a key part of my role. The greatest part though is being there to celebrate the wins with my clients and knowing that somewhere along the line I may have helped them along on their journey.
