Senior Procurement Financial Analyst

I’m a Senior Procurement Financial Analyst at Insitu Inc., focused on cost / price analysis for hardware and services purchased in support of U.S. Government contracts. In this role I help facilitate significant purchasing efforts for the company, overseeing compliance with federal guidelines while conducting financial analysis. My most exciting work during the last 3 years at Insitu is realized through contract negotiations, where I collaborate with our vendors to reach a financial agreement. Not only do I work with our purchasing team, but I also support our proposal team through negotiations with our clients / customers, which contributes to the growth of our company. Before joining Insitu, I spent 3 years as a PFA at The Boeing Company where I was lucky enough to work with amazing co-workers and vendors from around the globe. During this time, I also supported a team from McKinsey & Company identifying cost reduction opportunities through-out the enterprise and presenting results to executive leadership. I’m truly passionate about my work and always eager to connect with other financial analysts. While I enjoy all aspects of my job, I think my favorite step in analysis is transforming data into a business decision that helps the company make the best choice possible. Making decisions and pushing them forward with facts and data to support is where the fun begins. I have a BA in Operations Management from Western Washington University.
