Experienced CIO / CTO and consultant with strong experience in Retail, Travel and Outsourcing, particularly in digital and e-commerce space, now seeking next challenge in a permanent or interim CIO or IT director role • Successful background in large scale IT delivery, building business and technology roadmaps, IT governance and programme management, and delivering business transformation programmes of up to £150M. • Significant experience of implementing best practice frameworks for business and IT prioritisation and governance processes to drive maximum business benefit from IT and business change programmes • Deep and broad knowledge across technology from Enterprise architecture and application development through to infrastructure, networks and end-user computing, mobile and Cloud technologies • Demonstrable experience in transforming and delivering business critical IT services, with extensive knowledge of ITIL Service Management and its implementation, including serice transition and implementation. • Strong and experienced IT leader, managing and developing high performing teams of up to 150 staff across a broad mix of internal, contract and outsourced staff and suppliers, with budgets up to £150M. Particularly strong in: o IT Strategy and Enterprise architecture o Agile development, particularly for web and mobile o Business and IT Transformation and delivery o IT Operating models, governance, organisation and processes (PRINCE, ITIL, etc.) o ITIL based IT Service management o Outsourcing, vendor management, contract negotiation and consolidation o IT security, risk management and compliance o Infrastructure & Technology Management (including Virtualisation & Cloud) o Mergers & Acquisition due diligence and integration o Leadership & People Development • Strong Business skillsets in: o Digital and e-commerce including extensive mobile and app experience o Business strategy and innovation o Marketing, CRM, customer analytics, and loyalty
