Results included the first category management tool for North America, realtime logistics, 50% reduction in IT complexity and no single point failure. Extensive experience transforming retail/mass mechanizing systems from traditional to omni channel business strategies. Led the creation of mass merchant’s unified physical and digital/online prescense to address the needs of the same customers through two separate, yet unified systems. Integrated the two channels with minimal staff training and minimal technology investment. Created the technology strategy for Walmart Canada, through developing and maintaining a productive and collaborative relationship between the business leaders, corporate and local technology organizations. Results included delivery of relevent/transparent financial information, meeting service development expectations, establishing a single demand stream, enterprise level prioritization and establishing best practices for three global initiatives. Led the implementation and creation of a globally accepted business and IT architectures for a global mass merchant, enabling a major transformation from a project centeric organization to a product, agile, centeric delivery capability.
