Steven is a tax partner with over 25 years of experience serving clients in a broad range of industries, with an emphasis on real estate and financial services organizations. Steven provides tax consulting and planning strategies encompassing a variety of areas, including financial products, complex Subchapter K partnership matters and Subchapter S corporate matters, transfer pricing and international structuring, state and local tax planning, and representation before taxing authorities. Steven has provided tax consulting and compliance services to a variety of real estate and asset management clients, including REITs, real estate partnerships, private equity funds, hedge funds, investment advisors, broker/dealers, and mutual funds. He has extensive experience consulting with organizations on entity structuring alternatives to ensure maximum tax efficiency, and provides ongoing tax advice through the business and economic cycles on operational matters. Steven is an instructor in continuing professional education programs, with an emphasis on real estate and asset management tax courses. He has also been a noted speaker at tax seminars.
