My passion is graphic design. Daily, I demonstrate visual communication at my current role, Senior Marketing Specialist at First Merchants Bank. In Ohio, we take great pride in offering educational seminars to our commercial customers and I have the pleasure of helping lead our regional marketing team in planning and executing these events. My title of Senior Marketing Specialist comes with more than a graphic design responsibility, but also to be an event coordinator and marketer for these educational seminars. A great deal of planning, designing and coordinating go into making these events a success. I enjoy the challenge of wearing multiple hats, it is fun and rewarding. Being a graphic designer at a bank is fun (yes I said it) - but it can also be a challenge to be creative with the strict perimeters that come in the banking industry. But, when I come up with a solution that can make the banking industry a little more fun through my creative expression, it's a great feeling.
