I help insurance companies manage their U.S. federal tax issues. I advise both domestic and international insurance companies in transactions as well as in controversies with the Internal Revenue Service. I served as the Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Insurance Companies Committee of the ABA Tax Section and I am a frequent speaker on U.S. federal tax matters that affect insurance companies; venues have included: - FBA Insurance Tax Seminar - Insurance Tax Conference - Life Insurance Council of New York Annual Tax Conference - ABA Tax Section Insurance Companies Committee meetings I also am Chair of the Eversheds Sutherland (US) Women's Leadership Initiative.
