Talk to me about employee digital experience and you’ll discover I’m passionate about rooting out the points of friction—both technology and process-related—that impede workforce productivity and engagement and can lead to costly inefficiencies and talent attrition. You’ll also learn that I’m a huge advocate for top-down and bottom-up change management to increase the likelihood of improvements being noticed and adopted. Besides having lots of experience bridging business and technology, I’m respected for my ability to communicate effectively, develop multi-year roadmaps, build cross-functional governance, manage high-performing teams, be decisive and get the job done. The “job” might be big, like launching and promoting Office 365 across a global enterprise, moving an intranet to a new platform or designing and building out a new mobile channel for employee apps. Or, it might be small, like developing a wizard to guide employees in the use of new applications, fine-tuning an intranet news carousel to increase readership or simplifying navigation to save employees time. With so many components and variables, improving the employee digital experience can seem like a big, head-scratching puzzle, but the benefits of improving it—and ensuring alignment with the larger non-digital experience—are too great to ignore. It’s my role to help solve the puzzle and make your employee digital experience another reason to join your company and never a reason to leave it.
