Successfully sold the company for more than 16x EBITDA. Moved to FTD Group, Inc. (NASDAQ: FTD) in 2006 as EVP, Chief Technology Officer. FTD is a US$ 627M (2013 revenue) company offering flowers and gifts through eCommerce sites and a network of florists in North America, the U.K. and Ireland. FTD technology has has enabled the business to run one of the most heavily trafficked gift sites on the Web, offers products through social commerce and a floral trading system that handles millions of transactions each year. As CTO led the transition of FTD's web properties from a 3rd-party to being developed and hosted internally, the launch of the best-selling POS systems in the floral industry, and the technology changes required to effect the spin-off from FTD's parent company in 2013. Served as Chief Technology Officer of Wheels, Inc. Wheels is a US$1.6B privately-held company that provides technology-enabled services for Fortune 1000 companies to manage their vehicle fleets. Wheels technology -- everything from Web and mobile apps to an extensive vendor network -- is used to care for 1.3M vehicles world-wide and handles more than 40M transactions annually.
