Safety is the foremost important aspect of DLZ's work. Our goal is to keep our personnel and those around us safe. DLZ's employees understand that safety is not an individual choice, but an immutable primary lifelong value that impacts every individual on a project and their families. DLZ personnel are properly trained to proactively evaluate the working environment and, should the need arise, to react to the ever changing challenges encountered throughout the day. DLZ field and office personnel involved in the daily aspects of our projects are OSHA 10-hour trained. Furthermore, field personnel and select office personnel have CPR/First Aid training. In addition, our field superintendants, foreman, Journeyman, and Testing Technicians are OSHA 30 Hour trained. Additional training of select field and office personnel include the following: OSHA 500-hour OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour Confined Space Training E-Rail Safe Scissor Lift Training Fixed Scaffolds Client Specific Safety Training Emphasizing Safety as a way of life, DLZ conducts daily tool box talks and safety evaluation walk-throughs, pre-job safety analysis walk throughs, monthly group safety meetings, routine sharing of safety lessons learned, and continuous training programs.
