I have lead the vision, strategy, architecture, engineering, implementation and go-to-market for various cloud services and products. Held multiple roles spanning software development, technical architecture and general / engineering management of multi-functional teams. Drove innovation across multiple technology areas; with 13 issued patents and over 15 patents pending. I have managed multiple engineering teams that have built the first versions of many successful products and cloud services and taken them to commercial success. Led engineering teams on the first versions of Microsoft Exchange and Microsoft SQL Server. These enterprise server products lines are today multi-billion dollar businesses. Led engineering teams on Microsoft Passport / Live Id; one of the world’s earliest and largest cloud services. As the Product Unit Manager for Microsoft Dynamics Online Services, incubated and drove innovation across the Microsoft Office Live and the Dynamics Online cloud services. As the General Manager in the Dynamics AX cloud ERP solution, built from scratch the Dynamics Retail and Commerce Solution into one of the fastest growing industry verticals in Dynamics. Currently involved in building the next generation of retail, commerce and customer engagement business cloud and mobility experiences.
