DentaQuest Mid-Atlantic, Inc., based in Calverton, MD, is owned by Boston-based DentaQuest Ventures, one of the largest dental benefit service companies in the country with over eight million members and 600 employees. DentaQuest Mid-Atlantic offers a full range of commercial dental plans including indemnity, PPO, managed care, dual and triple option, and voluntary plans in Maryland and the District of Columbia. These products are also available in Virginia through DentaQuest Virginia, Inc. DentaQuest Venture's Doral Dental USA subsidiary is the largest multi-state administrator of government dental programs in the U.S.

As President and Chief Executive Officer, Steve Pollock leads DentaQuest, the second largest dental benefits administrator in the United States, and the largest for Medicaid. DentaQuest is a purpose driven, double bottom line company whose mission is to improve the oral health of all. Through our dental benefits administration, care delivery, philanthropy, science and education we are transforming systems. Pollock has been with the organization since 1999, most recently serving as Chief Operating Officer, with oversight for all business segments. During his tenure at the company, he has led the growth of DentaQuest from 2.3 million members to more than 23 million members in 30 states today. Pollock serves on the Boards of the Massachusetts Association of Health Plans, the DentaQuest Foundation, the DentaQuest Institute and the Delta Dental Plans Association. He is a member of the Massachusetts Business Roundtable, NYU School of Dentistry Dean’s Advisory Committee and Boston College Chief Executives Club. He is also a member of the CEO Action for Diversity and Inclusion. He is a former Board member of Oral Health America, a national organization dedicated to improving oral health. He is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and a certified public accountant in Ohio.Pollock holds a B.B.A. from University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a J.D. from the University of Wisconsin Law School.
