In medical devices, I have had the opportunity to work in the UK and Australia in orthopedics including joint reconstruction, trauma, and sports medicine. I have also used various software planning platforms that aid in the planning and execution of surgical procedures including Trumatch, Blueprint, and BrainLab utilized by Depuy Synthes and Wright Medical. These platforms have utilized patient-specific 3d printed instrumentation. I have also had the opportunity to discuss complex trauma cases with various consultants where 3d printed anatomical models have aided in the visualization and planning for correction of trauma deformities. Applying this experience to 3D printing solutions offered by Materialise Medical, which has pioneered many leading medical applications of 3D Printing and is enabling researchers, engineers, and clinicians to revolutionize innovative personalized treatment that help improve and save patients' lives.
