Highly qualified and trained multi-skilled project/team leader chemist with over 13 years pharmaceutical process chemistry experience in researching and developing synthetic routes from gram scale pre-clinical stages through to multi kilogram quantities in cGMP pilot facilities. In January 2012 I engaged in an exciting and challenging new role leading the Chemical Development team at Codexis Laboratories Singapore and in February 2013 transferred to Redwood City, USA leading the process chemistry there. Specialties: • In depth knowledge of API process development from gram to multi kilogram scale and broad chemical expertise in chemical- and bio- transformations. • Ability to work across on parallel projects and across functional lines and to quickly assimilate data and concepts. • Seasoned author of API related IMPD CMC sections. • Proven track record in managing projects and teams. • Ability to effectively supervise colleagues with a range of experiences. • Experience in academic collaborations and cross-pharma pre-competitive collaboration.
