The CIPD is the professional body for HR and People Development with over 160,000 members. I'm accountable for ensuring we continue to grow our Membership through continually improving our value and relevance. I'm responsible for a P&L of £24m+ as well as ensuring our membership proposition and experience is continuously improving. My remit includes Membership Development (proposition development), our Customer Service and Contact Centre areas and supporting our Professional Networks - including our incredible network of branches enabled by over 700 volunteers. I also lead our Regional and National teams in Wales, Scotland, N Ireland and the North of England on their work supporting employer relationships and influencing policy. I'm on multiple lists (of varying credibility) of most influential people in the profession and won Executive of the Year in the 2020 Association of Association Executives awards for our growth and improvements in customer experience (NPS up 40pts in 2 years). I'm currently supporting a group of professional bodies looking to improve inclusion in their respective professions. Please get in touch if you would like to get involved.
