JoAnna Sohovich is a seasoned C-Suite Executive with experience across multiple, diverse manufactured goods businesses spanning industrial, commercial, residential and consumer end users. She excels at driving innovation and growth for large, complex P&Ls utilizing global brands and channels. JoAnna is currently CEO of The Chamberlain Group, Inc. (CGI), the top provider of residential & commercial garage and gate access solutions represented by its Chamberlain®, LiftMaster®, Merlin® and Grifco® brands. As one of the top home connectivity companies in the industry, its MyQ® technology empowers consumers to monitor & control their garage doors & home lighting from smartphones anytime, anywhere. JoAnna also serves as an independent director for the Barnes Group, Inc. (NYSE: B). Prior to joining CGI, JoAnna was Global President of STANLEY Engineered Fastening, a leading provider of advanced assembly systems, joining technologies, asset monitoring & factory productivity systems. She also led Stanley Black & Decker's company-wide Digital Excellence program. Previously, JoAnna was Global President of STANLEY Industrial & Automotive Repair, a leading provider of professional and industrial-grade hand tools, power tools, storage & workspace systems, inventory tracking solutions, software & distribution. Prior to joining Stanley, JoAnna was President of Honeywell Security & Communications, the world’s largest manufacturer of electronic security systems. She also led Honeywell Commercial Building Controls--a complex hardware, software & systems portfolio controlling HVAC, lighting & refrigeration in non-residential buildings. JoAnna started as a Naval Officer assigned to the U.S. Naval Submarine base in Point Loma, CA and later aboard USS ESSEX (LHD-2), an amphibious assault ship. She is Master Black Belt and Design for Six Sigma certified and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
