My experience spans over two decades of diverse work in health care, not-for-profit, academic, legal, and corporate spheres. I'm naturally enthusiastic about communications and relationship building. I enjoy connecting people and ideas and empowering individuals to be their best selves. I'm currently exploring new partnerships in California and nationally. I have a deep proven commitment to fostering quality of life improvements across the socioeconomic spectrum. I am passionate about developing young people, leading the work with the CCL/Girl Scouts Young Women's Leadership Institute and serving as mentor, facilitator, and advisor for eight years to the CCL/YMCA Black & Latino Achievers Program. I'm thrilled to be directly contributing to the improvement of health and health care for all Americans through my work with the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation's Executive Nurse Fellows national senior leadership program. Recent publications include a white paper on young women's leadership development. I do professional program development, writing/editing, and coaching for businesses & individuals, keynote speaking on leadership topics, blog for several websites, and have served on several organizational health and wellness committees.
