Offering more than 15 years experience in public relations and journalism in a fast paced setting, where issues are as complex as they are dynamic, I am adept at handling daily deadlines as well as proactive media campaigns across all platforms. Currently, my position requires management of the print, online, broadcast, and social media public relations strategy for the City of Jersey City, as well as crisis communications. As the Press Secretary for the second largest and most diverse city in New Jersey, I routinely work with our counterparts in New York City, our Trenton delegation and our federal representatives on issues affecting Jersey City. I have numerous governmental contacts at all levels, as well as strong professional relationships with the New York/New Jersey print and broadcast media. Passionate about communications, I am both a team player and a manager with outstanding written and oral communication skills, time management and budget skills, the ability to multi-task, and possess a strong educational background -- an M.S. in Journalism from Medill School of Journalism, Northwestern University, and a B.A. in History from Barnard College, Columbia University.
