Buyer/ Non-Supervisory 2004 - Present Day to Day Operations Include: • Responsible for maintaining optimal levels of medical supplies used by department. • Generate forecast reports for setting current par levels of inventory and an analysis tool for making needed adjustments to par levels. • Generate bids for supplies and equipment not stocked in warehouse • Purchase various drugs as required by the medical department o Including Class II drugs requiring DEA forms • Build strong relationships with various vendors • Negotiate contracts and pricing for all non-captive supplies, equipment and drugs Other Positons merged into current position Uniform Coordinator o Schedule appointments with Human Resources to fit new hires with uniforms o Tag and shelve all incoming uniforms orders o Arrange uniform room in manner that is efficient and user friendly in absence. o Receive and confirm orders are correct o Arrange embroidery of all required garments Billing Clerk o Invoicing and crediting department for uniforms issued/returned o Filing of invoices and credit memos o Investigating shortages or overages of uniform inventory Inventory / Cost Analyst o Working with corporate purchasing director to create basic list of products used by all Canyon Ranch properties in order to generate RFQ’s to be submitted to all interested parties in order to obtain best possible prices. o Comparing of all items used by all properties for cost and building a report to be submitted to the executive team members. o Aide in building forecast reports to help determine overall usage of product on all Canyon Ranch Properties o Generate cost savings and flash reports at the end of each month for Tucson property for submittal to executive team members o Maintain master list of all items used and assign all current items numbers used on all properties.
