Kim Le is the CEO and Founder of A2Q2, a Special Ops team for accounting and finance departments. A2Q2 helps high-growth companies solve challenges in accounting processes and systems (NetSuite), data analytics, and internal controls - SOX. Some key clients have include Airbnb, CNET, Eventbrite, Intuit, Pandora, Square, Stanford University, Uber and VeriFone. Kim’s humble beginnings are the foundation for the firm’s purpose of helping the underdogs win. She and her family were among the “boat people” from Vietnam who escaped to Malaysia. They spent a year in a refugee camp living on dirt floors and food rations. Kim supported herself through college where she earned a 4.0 overall GPA. Kim started her public accounting career with Arthur Andersen and stayed until 2002 when the Enron scandal shut down the firm. From that experience, Kim decided to start her own consulting company. Kim’s personal struggles frame the way she handles professional challenges today. “I have always had to work hard to catch up and work smarter to kick-butt, so I thrive on challenges and achievement. When you are not living in a refugee camp, everything else is easy.” In her spare time, Kim runs Tough Mudder events, gets roughed up in kickboxing and crashes motorcycles.
