Karl practices in the areas of real estate development and public financing including acquisition, development and disposition of residential, condominium, commercial and industrial properties, as well as public-private partnership matters such as the financing of infrastructure and special district financings, tax increment and other redevelopment financing, economic development incentives and obtaining corporate incentives for large and small businesses. Mr. Marschel is experienced with all stages of the real estate development process including negotiating purchase and sale agreements, leasing, and the negotiation of acquisition and development financing. Mr. Marschel represents both private and public entities throughout the United States seeking to promote the development of properties and businesses as well as other business opportunities. Mr. Marschel has acted as bond counsel, underwriter’s counsel, special counsel and private incentives counsel in bond and other financings related to public economic development efforts.
