Brit Morin is the founder & CEO of Brit + Co, an online platform that provides tools to teach, inspire and enable creativity among women and girls. From traditional crafts to high-tech manufacturing, Brit + Co connects millions of users with makers, designers, chefs, and inventors, together building a community of creativity. Morin is also the author of the bestselling book, Homemakers: A Domestic Handbook for the Digital Generation, which debuted on March 3, 2015 selling thousands of copies in its first week. Brit has had the opportunity to partner with like-minded creative brands, including companies like Target, 3M, Starbucks, L’Oreal and Hallmark. When she's not coming up with creative ideas to share with her fellow makers, Brit can be seen on several national TV shows like The Today Show, Rachael Ray, Steve Harvey, Meredith Viera, HSN and more. She has also been a contributor for Katie Couric, CNN, Yahoo and the Huffington Post, and has been profiled and quoted as an expert and entrepreneur in business publications like the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Fortune, and Forbes as well as women’s lifestyle outlets like Cosmopolitan, Glamour and Marie Claire. Brit currently serves as an advisor and investor in several technology startups and is a special partner to Slow Ventures. She received her BS from the University of Texas at Austin, and now lives in the Bay Area with her husband, Dave, and their son, Ansel.
