Besides having experience in acquisitions and sale of companies, he is responsible for Strategy Planning, Venture Capital Funding, Financial management, Budget & Forecasts, Internal audits, Contract management, Contract pricing and profitability.Currently, Tarun works as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer of Brillient Corporation, a company in Reston, Virginia. Brillient is a technology and business solutions firm with a proven track record of providing technology and management consulting, and mission support services. Before joining Brillient Tarun was CFO of Sectek Inc, a company providing security services to Government and private companies. Earlier, he worked as CFO at Optimos Inc., a company providing information technology services to Government & commercial customers. Prior to that he served as controller for Vidicomp Distributors Inc. in Houston, Texas overseeing operations, financial reporting and planning. Tarun also held senior management position in Australia, and also managed project divisions in Russia and Ukraine. A certified public accountant, he holds a key role in long term corporate strategy planning. A Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Advisor (CMMA) and holds a certificate in Sarbanes-Oxley.
