Chris is currently a co-founder at Boxed; a mobile e-commerce startup delivering toilet paper and paper towels via smartphones and tablets. He is also a partner at Blackgate Ventures, a small venture capital side project investing in leading-edge, early-stage technology, mobile companies, social networks for prison inmates and cupcake shops. Prior to Boxed and Blackgate Ventures, Chris worked at Goldman Sachs before leaving to pursue mobile social gaming. As co-founder at Astro Ape SGS, he was somewhat involved creating top-ranked, money-grubbing social games before the company was acquired by money-grubbing social gaming giant Zynga. To his dismay, he became a Director of Game Design at Zynga Mobile New York. In his former life, Chris worked at a number of Fortune 500 companies in a variety of roles. Gifted with insomnia and fluctuating states of funemployment, he developed businesses ranging from fashion importing, ebay stores, and print-on-demand apparel all while sleepwalking through his day job. Chris barely earned his Bachelor's in Economics from Johns Hopkins University and is in the midst of seeking a refund while refusing to spend any more of his parents' pension on higher education. Currently in self-imposed exile having been afflicted with constantly referring to himself in the third person, his main pursuit is financing companies that may one day grant him immortality.
