British Heart Foundation is a nonprofit organization which specializes in beating heart disease, research, medical, heart health, vital, pioneering, information, caring.

I have 12 years experience of working within the charity sector. The past 10 years i have focused on the management and development of printed heart health information resources for the Prevention, survival and support division of the British Heart Foundation. Highly motivated, organised and experienced at managing projects. I have a proven track record of managing deadlines for multiple projects, prioritising and monitoring budgets. Since 2008 i have worked in the Children and Young people team of the BHF and I manage a portfolio of 75 resources for 0 - 18 year olds across a continuous development cycle from scoping, production and marketing to evaluation and review. I am passionate and committed to providing high quality information to of children of all ages. I lead a project team consisting of medical professionals, designers, copywriter and printer to ensure a medically accurate resource is produced within brand guidelines that is suitable for a specific audience. Topics include story books for under 7 year olds on prevention of heart disease to books for under 11 year olds to explain the process of heart surgery. I have over 8 years of experience of working directly with 13 - 19 year old heart patients within the BHF's meet@teenheart project. I attend residential events and regular workshops, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment is created for the young people. I have excellent knowledge of the challenges young patients face in living with a condition and passionately committed to providing high quality information for them. Highly skilled and knowledgable of social media, excellent knowledge of how to produce a resource to a young person for a wide range of topics. I have worked on materials with sensitive topics such a child bereavement and terminally ill young people.
