Talent management is central to the success of any organization and I have the privilege of being able to drive the strategy behind this at Aviva Canada. I get to work with a fantastic team that is filled with people who are passionate about their work, ensuring that we provide the best experience for our employees and our customers. Part of my role is to help shape our culture, so that we create an environment which allows our employees to speak up fearlessly, challenge the way we do things and be their “true selves.” Through this work, my team and I have given employees avenues to have a voice which has really helped to increase collaboration and innovation. On a personal note, I keep myself busy as a mother of two. I have learnt over the years that I really need to work on my hockey and crafting skills. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends but also look forward to some alone time with a good book.
