As Senior Vice President of Strategic Sourcing, Chip McIntyre oversees the contracting and supplier management functions. He also oversees Avendra’s Supply Chain Development team which drives process improvement and provides analytical support. In total, Avendra manages almost $5B in spend covering a broad array of categories, from food and beverage to textiles to engineering supplies to services.Previously, Chip spent seven years consulting for Fortune 200 companies, first with A.T. Kearney and then with the Boston Consulting Group. In these roles, Chip led projects in strategic sourcing, supply chain optimization, manufacturing improvement, organization design, and change management. In between consulting roles, Chip spent several years with Cadbury, plc, where he led the team responsible for Cadbury’s procurement in North and South America. Early in his career, Chip served for five years in the U.S. Army as an Infantry Officer.
