AutoNation is an automotive company which is engaged in sales of new vehicles, used vehicles, automotive parts and services, finance and insurance products etc.

Ken is VF’s Chief Information Security Officer and leads VF’s global information security functions. He is responsible for the development, execution, and ongoing maintenance of a comprehensive information risk management program that protects all significant VF business activities, systems, and information worldwide. Ken came to VF from AutoNation where he held senior leadership roles leading Cybersecurity, Vendor Security, PCI Compliance, Data security, Risk Assessment, and technology Compliance. Prior to this, he held senior leadership roles at American Eagle Outfitters, JPMorgan Chase, and CIBER, Inc. Ken started his career in the U.S. Air Force in 1986 as an Electro-Mechanical Team Member working on the Minuteman Inter-Continental Ballistic Missile system and left the service in 1999 as the Flight Commander for the B2 weapon system’s Operational Test and Evaluation data systems function. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from Park College and a Master of Science in Computer Resources Management from Webster University, Missouri. In his free time, Ken loves to hike, ride motorcycles, read, and spend time with family. Specialties: Extensive management experience in Information Security/ Information Risk Management experience. Experience leveraging technology to appropriately manage the technology risk of business processes without impacting functionality. Managing medium to large-scale projects; integrating systems across multiple technology platforms; selecting, leading, and developing staff; guiding process improvement efforts. Ability to implement strategies necessary to respond to changing business conditions and accommodate rapid growth. Energetic, flexible and hands-on leader with a diverse background in fast-paced environments. Ability to architect new solutions, redesign existing systems and provide proactive strategies around a multitude of opportunities.
