I have a master's degree and over ten years of professional experience in gender advocacy, research and development, tribal government consultation, case management, and teaching. I am currently working in operational management for a small, woman owned business in the metro DC area. Our company services children on the autism spectrum where I am able to contribute by managing human resources and client services/on-boarding. My passion for community activism led me to international human rights where I focused on gender and women's human rights in obtaining my master's degree. My previous position allowed me to be an advocate for improved birth and maternal healthcare access/rights. My career objectives include engaging in domestic and international reproductive and sexual rights advocacy work, immigration reform, and other gender policy work.
