In 2007, Kent joined Kirk Krappe and Neehar Giri in co-founding the SaaS company, Apttus. Apttus is the category-defining Quote-to-Cash software company that drives the vital business process between the buyer’s interest in a purchase and the realization of revenue. Applications include Configure-Price-Quote (CPQ), Renewals, Contract Management, Revenue Management and E-Commerce. Apttus has raised $186M in 3 rounds of funding from private growth equity, ICONIQ, K1 Capital, KIA and salesforce.com. Today, under Kent’s leadership as Chief Customer Office, the company has over 350 enterprise customers, offices in several countries and multiple patents pending. Kent has been instrumental in advising customers on maximizing value from their Apttus solutions and is recognized as an industry leader in contract lifecycle management and has been a frequent speaker at industry leading contract management events. Prior to Apttus Kent held senior sales management roles at contract lifecycle providers, I-many and Nextance. Earlier in his career Kent held marketing and sales management roles at Oracle, TRADE, and Strategic Mapping. Kent has a degree in Geography from UC Davis.
