I bring extensive Main Board experience in developing brands, driving channel growth and delivering new business, together with a strong record of driving change and transformation within mature businesses. Through innovative ideas, establishing a brand purpose and putting the customer at the heart of the business I have consistently driven growth in competitive markets. My broad cross functional experience includes buying, merchandising, design, multi-channel, marketing, customer and new business development. This diverse business knowledge as enabled me to develop and implement strategy, make valued contributions as a senior board member and influence at every level. I have deftly adapted to a diverse group of businesses and product categories with very different priorities and challenges. I have also relished the challenge of working for a variety of ownership structures such as privately-owned, public listed and private equity businesses. I possess a ‘can do’ attitude and naturally collaborative leadership style allowing me to establish productive and influential relationships at all levels. Delivering P&L results is at the heart of what I do. For Ann Summers I have developed a new brand purpose with overhauled product offering driving a £7m swing in profitability in 3 years. This included the delivery of a wholesales and international strategy that has seen us open with 14 major global partners including a 75 store Nordstrom roll out in a 2-year period driving 50% of the business profit growth.
