My name is Gidi Tal, I am hands-on technology leader with more than 20 years of international customer facing management experience. In the last 10 years, I was leading and directing diverse efforts including building of DEVOPS teams with high functioning process and procedures, manage major middleware developments, designing and implement complex Infrastructure Data centers. I lead designing and implementation of systems high- availability capabilities including fault management and 5/9 availability using canary and Active-Active approach for hybrid ecosystems of Cloud/ VRA's and physical installations. Lead building of testing ecosystems management product to support development continues integration to performance engineering. Designed and implemented asset management capabilities including connectivity topology and service registry. In my current position, I am heading the R&D of automation transformation in A large corporate Infra and IT organization with centers in USA, India, Canada Mexico and Israel. I lead the development and implementation of CI/CD capabilities for hybrid cloud, onperm VA and onperm physical operations of legacy and digital applications. The development of automation microservices architecture and implementation of nonproduction monitoring and self-healing capabilities Prior to it I lead a team of over 200 IT professionals in 5 locations around the world providing 24/7 planning, operations, Infra/MW and Automation support to T-Mobile USA non-production environments including support for hundreds of applications and thousands of physical servers, VRAs, Cloud IaaS/PaaS , vendors management and service providers coordination. I Supported over 4 years of T-Mobile ground breaking IT digital and Dev Ops transformation journey while providing stable legacy and hybrid testing and performance ecosystems supporting the unprecedented success of the T-Mobile uncarrier business initiatives. I Directed the architecture, development and implementation of CI/CD automation, infra as code and systems monitoring leading to 95% improvement in environment availability and 90% reduction in Infra and connectivity related issues.
