As a corporate lawyer with over 25 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters, I have represented private equity funds and their portfolio companies in acquisitions and divestitures, as well as general corporate representation throughout the period the portfolio companies are held by the fund. I also represent domestic and international companies in in-bound mergers and acquisitions, and frequently represent management in equity transactions that affect executives specifically, such as rollovers. Particular industry experience includes staffing, health care information services, minerals and mining, distribution and manufacturing businesses. I served for eight years as leader of the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practice Quality Team, and recently completed a four-year term on our firm's management committee, culminating in my position as Chair of the firm’s Partners’ Committee in 2014. I have been involved in various legal, business and charitable organizations such as the Atlanta Bar Business & Finance Section (Chair and Board member), the Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Corporate Growth (Board member), the Duke Atlanta Women’s Forum, Atlanta’s United Way Women of Tocqueville, and I have volunteered for the Center for Visually Impaired (Board member). I love to travel, fish, play golf and shoot sporting clays.
