I'm a systems engineer with a passion for developing instrumentation and medical devices. I take pride in building instruments that save lives and collaborating with team members with diverse specialities to develop and qualify instrumentation used to drive breakthroughs at the cutting edge of science. The instruments that my team and I developed at the Allen Institute for Brain Science led to four articles published on the cover of Nature and the Allen Brain Atlas was named one of Time magazine's top ten medical breakthroughs of 2006. I enjoy all phases of the product development life cycle and performing systems engineering technical work. I also take pride in managing and advising systems engineers to develop specifications, complete design verification test cycles, handle FMEA analysis, and complete project documentation when in a project manager/product owner role.
