I am a versatile Mechanical Engineer with Project Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Design and Operations experience in both the Oil & Gas and Space industries. I have a long record for multi-disciplinary collaborating (Operations, Procurement, HSEQ, etc.) and have lead design teams through several engineering design cycles to deliver safe and efficient solutions. I have led both local and remote teams and have worked remotely at on-site field locations. I am technically minded and guided by the “big picture” to effectively plan and communicate with management and clients. I worked within the Orbiter Engineering department to provide subcontractor oversight and guidance for maintaining hardware flight certification through analysis, testing, and repair. I also developed the Subsystem Specification, V&VD and End Item Specification for the next generation Space Suit. Under my technical leadership, Subsea Christmas Trees, Tubing Hangers and associated running tools were successfully designed, built and delivered for the first time in over ten years by Aker Solutions Houston. I also worked in the R&D department as a Technical Lead to successfully design and qualify a new hydraulic downhole running tool for ultra-deep water, high pressure and temperature subsea use. I am known for my strong work ethic and for overcoming new challenges to deliver quality products with high confidence and satisfaction.
