After being overweight most of my life I began spending a lot of time working out. I eventually lost a lot of weight and became an inspiration to others at my local gym and was offered a job. That was 5 years ago in a Planet Fitness. I eventually was encouraged by a Personal Training Manger at my new local gym in Seattle and was asked if I had ever considered being a trainer. At this time the manager knew nothing of my past and how much I could relate to clients. He just thought I was in good shape and knew what I was doing. Long story short I eventually became one of the top grossing trainers against those with years of experience greater than my age. Being a personal trainer was an amazing, humbling experience. But accounting is where I see myself! In a suit and tie, not gym shorts and Nike's.
